Dr. Daren Benson is a foot and ankle surgeon and the medical director of the Vancouver Clinic Ambulatory Surgery Center. He has been closely involved with the development of the clinic’s new building design and is an advocate for lean health care implementation.

Dr. Benson has been in practice since 2000. He treats a wide variety of concerns, including congenital deformities such as clubfoot, and pediatric issues such as toe walking, in-toeing, and flatfoot. He has a particular interest in caring for foot and ankle fractures, Achilles tendon injuries, and ankle arthritis. He has extensive experience in reconstructive surgery and bunion surgery. Dr. Benson is board certified in foot surgery, reconstructive rearfoot surgery, and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Benson is a Northwest native. He grew up in Eugene, Oregon, and completed his undergraduate training at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. He earned a degree in podiatric medicine from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. He completed a surgical residency and chief residency at Kaiser Permanente in Hayward, Fremont, and Santa Clara, California.

Dr. Benson enjoys running, coaching, golfing, hunting, fishing, and traveling. Most of all, he loves spending time with his family.
