    Dr. Amelia Ryan became a doctor because she enjoys helping people and making a positive difference in the lives of her patients and their families. She considers it a privilege to get to know her patients and to guide them toward long-term health and wellness. She believes strongly in preventive care and works closely with individuals and families to stay a step ahead of health issues. Dr. Ryan is passionate about supporting families as they establish healthy habits, which serve as a foundation for good health in the future.

    Dr. Ryan practices the full scope of family medicine, including women’s health, adolescent and pediatric care, adult primary care, and a range of outpatient clinic procedures.

    Dr. Ryan earned her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. She earned a doctor of medicine from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. She completed the West Suburban Family Medicine Residency Program and the PCC Community Health and Leadership Fellowship in Oak Park, Illinois. She also earned a master’s degree in public health from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Public Health. Her public health interests include systems-based delivery of health care, community advocacy, and patient-focused health initiatives.

    Dr. Ryan and her husband, a cardiologist at Vancouver Clinic, have three children. She loves to run distance races and triathlons, grow fruit and vegetables, and do art projects with her children.
