Surgery Center

Expert care, breakthrough technology

The Vancouver Clinic Surgery Center allows our expert physicians and surgeons to care for you in a state-of-the-art space. Avoiding a hospital stay allows you to experience excellent care and recover safely in the comfort of home.

Many procedures can now be performed in an outpatient setting thanks to new technologies and better pain management options. Physicians from specialties throughout Vancouver Clinic schedule patients into the surgery center to help ensure fast access to essential surgical care.

Outpatient joint replacements

Vancouver Clinic orthopedists offer outpatient full joint replacements to low-risk individuals. Using a MAKO™ robotic-assisted surgery device, our surgeons can place new hip and knee joints with extreme accuracy for natural movement.

Outpatient surgical care

Vancouver Clinic surgeons offer minimally invasive gallbladder, hernia, reproductive organ, colon, kidney, and bladder surgeries. Using the da Vinci Robotic Surgical system, surgeons can access and treat difficult-to-reach areas of the body without a large incision.

Information about the Surgery Center

Leading disinfection process

The surgery space includes 18 private pre- and post-procedure rooms. Six operating rooms feature Indigo-Clean technology, a visible light disinfection device that kills the flu, COVID-19, and other bacteria and viruses both in the air and on surfaces.

Informed, coordinated experience

When you have a procedure at the Vancouver Clinic Surgery Center, our surgery staff will prepare you prior to surgery and tell you what to anticipate immediately after. We provide post-procedural care instructions and follow-up appointments (as needed). We also coordinate with other clinicians and specialists to support your recovery.
