Troy Beavers, DO
Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Troy Beavers entered medicine because he enjoys getting to know people and solving problems for them. He treats the whole patient, understanding not only what is going on medically, but what is happening in other parts of their life. He focuses on developing care plans that work for patients and encouraging them as they tackle ongoing health concerns.
Dr. Beavers enjoys working in family medicine because it affords him the opportunity to see patients of all ages, including kids, adolescents, and adults. In addition to providing primary care, he is adept at addressing issues related to mental health.
Dr. Beavers earned a bachelor of science in biology from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He earned a doctor of osteopathy from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, also in Spartanburg. He completed a residency in family medicine at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia.
Away from medicine, Dr. Beavers enjoys running, hiking, biking, and experiencing the great outdoors. He and his wife have two children and love spending time together as a family.
