Taylor Eckel, DPT
Taylor Eckel believes all patients deserve elite care. As a physical therapist, she facilitates recovery from pain and injury by collaborating with individuals on a rehabilitation approach and empowering them to take ownership of their health through movement.
Taylor cares for people of all ages. Her patients include grandparents who need help building the strength to safely navigate stairs and pick up grandchildren, as well as athletes who compete at the highest levels. She finds it incredibly satisfying to see patients accomplish their goals and discover their mental and physical strength.
Because exercise is vital to overall wellness and quality of life, Taylor is passionate about helping people at every age and fitness level return to health and stay active into the future. She has a special interest in serving high school athletes and active individuals experiencing chronic pain.
Taylor earned an associate of science in biology at Hagerstown Community College in Robinwood, Maryland. She earned a bachelor of arts in journalism at Patrick Henry College in Purcellville, Virginia. From there, she earned a bachelor of science in exercise science and a doctor of physical therapy at George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon.
Away from medicine, Taylor enjoys lifting weights, playing pickup sports, snowboarding, hiking, backpacking, and spending time with her puppy.
