Sunny Rhee, MD
Dr. Sunny Rhee treats patients with dignity, respect, and compassion. He believes in making patients’ physical and mental comfort a priority, and focuses on helping relieve their anxiety.
As a radiologist, Dr. Rhee is a trusted consultant to clinicians in other specialties. He enjoys discussing complex cases with other caregivers so that they can develop the best path forward for patients. He has a special interest in liver tumor imaging. Dr. Rhee previously led a multispecialty liver tumor board serving multiple medical centers.
Dr. Rhee earned a bachelor of science in biology at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He completed a doctor of medicine degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. From there, he finished an MRI fellowship at U.C. San Diego Health in California. He is board certified in radiology.
Dr. Rhee is married and enjoys spending time with his spouse and son. He believes that few things beat enjoying the morning light with a fragrant coffee and a delectable baked good.
