Dr. Steve Kim focuses on relieving patients’ anxiety and concerns. He takes the time to answer their questions, giving them the knowledge they need to make informed decisions. He particularly enjoys getting to know patients’ backgrounds so that he can provide tailored treatments and care.

Dr. Kim appreciates the variety that internal medicine offers. Every day, he is able to help patients prevent diseases, manage ongoing concerns, and find relief for pressing health issues. He has a special interest in increasing health care accessibility.

Dr. Kim graduated with a bachelor of arts in biochemistry from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas. He earned a doctor of medicine from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas. He is fluent in Korean.

Away from medicine, he enjoys hiking, camping, snowboarding, playing board games, watching movies, and reading manga. He has a passion for wine and has completed introductory sommelier certification.
