Stephen Rechenmacher, MD
Dr. Steve Rechenmacher believes patients deserve to understand how their disease is impacting their body—and what can be done about it. He strives to help individuals and their families gain the knowledge they need to truly participate in care decisions.
Dr. Rechenmacher particularly enjoys contributing to advances in electrophysiology. Cutting-edge technologies are providing patients with a solution for nearly every rhythm disturbance. He has experience in state-of-the-art pacing techniques and complex catheter ablations for all types of arrhythmias.
Dr. Steve Rechenmacher earned his medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of California Davis Medical Center. He was the chief cardiovascular disease fellow at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He went on to complete a fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology, also at the University of Utah.
Dr. Rechenmacher is married and has a son and two daughters—all three of whom he delivered. The family enjoys playing musical instruments, biking, and hiking together. Dr. Rechenmacher also enjoys solving logic puzzles, creating detailed wood carvings, and working with his hands.
