Dr. Coates received her medical degree in 2004 from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at Baystate Medical Center Tufts University in Springfield, MA, and then completed her fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine at Oregon Health and Science University.
Dr. Coates’ philosophy is founded on thoroughly educating patients so that they are empowered to be active participants in their own medical care. Her goal is to give each patient the tools necessary to understand and navigate the often complex terrain of modern healthcare.
In her spare time, Dr. Coates enjoys hiking, playing tennis, and exploring local food gems with friends. But most of all, she loves spending time with her family.
