Skyler A. Stone, FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner
Skyler Stone became a nurse practitioner to inspire people to live healthy lives. He is motivated to find what works best for each patient’s lifestyle and supports individuals as they incorporate healthy practices into daily living. He believes good health isn’t achieved through a one-size-fits-all solution.
Skyler enjoys being there for patients during unexpected medical or psychological problems and recommends simple and effective solutions. While he treats a full range of diseases and illnesses, Skyler has a particular interest in diagnosing and treating orthopedic concerns. He also loves working with kids and helping them feel at ease when they are sick or hurt.
Skyler earned a bachelor of arts in communications from Washington State University (WSU) in Pullman, Washington. He went on to earn a bachelor of science in nursing from WSU Spokane. He also holds a master of science in advanced practice nursing from Gonzaga University in Spokane. In addition to his urgent care experience, Skyler previously cared for patients with upper-extremity injuries at an orthopedics clinic. He also spent five years in emergency medicine at hospitals in Eastern Washington.
Skyler and his wife have one son. He enjoys coaching his kid’s soccer team, alpine skiing, reading non-fiction books about Northwest history, and watching WSU football. He also spends his free time mastering carpentry skills by making furniture and working on home remodeling projects.
