Dr. Sarah Kam is passionate about dermatology because it offers so many opportunities to improve patients’ quality of life. She enjoys educating individuals about preventive skin care, treating complex and serious skin diseases, and addressing cosmetic concerns. She strives to help patients feel comfortable and cared for during their visits.

While Dr. Kam treats a range of concerns, she has a special interest in autoinflammatory skin conditions, complex medical dermatology, and hyperpigmentation disorders.

Dr. Kam received a bachelor of arts in mathematics and biological sciences at Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts. She earned a doctor of medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed her residency in dermatology at the Boston University Medical Campus, where she was also director of cosmetic dermatology education.

Away from medicine, Dr. Kam likes to ski, attend live music concerts, cook, paddleboard with her standard poodle, and travel.
