Sara Reid, FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner
Sara Reid considers it a privilege to care for people when they are hurt or sick. She takes the time to listen to each patient’s concerns, understanding the urgent problem in the context of the individual’s health history. She enjoys being able to address health issues quickly and offer patients clear plans for treatment and follow-up. Sara strives to always offer open, honest, and respectful communication.
As a family nurse practitioner Sara sees patients of all ages. She has a particular fondness for working with families and kids. Sara spent more than a decade as an emergency room nurse and continues to be passionate about supporting victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
Sara started volunteering at a hospital when she was 13 years old. Her job was to run charts up from the basement to the emergency room. Watching the hustle and bustle of nurses and providers caring for people and saving lives convinced her that medicine was where she belonged. After high school, she enrolled at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Washington, where she earned an associate degree in nursing. From there she earned a bachelor of science in nursing and a master of science in nursing leadership from Western Governors University. She completed her post-masters certification through Indiana State University.
Sara and her family enjoy disc golfing, camping, swimming, and hiking. She also loves reading, cooking, painting, and attending outdoor concerts.
