Internal Medicine Resident
Dr. Samia Munayirji creates a safe, inclusive, and judgment-free environment for patients. She focuses on helping people feel comfortable, reducing their anxiety about seeking medical care. Her goal is to build connections with individuals and improve their quality of life.
Dr. Munayirji was inspired to enter medicine after working as an advocate for victims of sexual assault. She considers it an honor to advocate for and care for individuals during vulnerable moments. As an internal medicine resident, Dr. Munayirji cares for adults of all ages. She has a special interest in geriatrics, chronic disease prevention and management, and pain management.
Dr. Munayirji earned a bachelor of arts in history at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. She went on to complete pre-medical sciences courses at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. She earned her doctor of medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.
Away from medicine, Dr. Munayirji enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee and tennis, hiking with her partner, playing video and board games, and hosting paint nights with friends.
