Dr. Russell Davidson listens to patients with empathy and openness. He focuses on providing an accurate diagnosis, educating individuals about their health issue, and partnering with them on a treatment plan that will help them feel better quickly. He strives to help patients avoid hospital stays and emergency room visits when safe and appropriate.

Dr. Davidson is passionate about lifelong learning, particularly since urgent care clinicians see such a wide variety of injuries and conditions.

Dr. Davidson was inspired to enter medicine after watching the TV show ER as a teenager. He started his education at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C., where he earned a bachelor of science in biopsychology. He earned a doctor of medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Texas Tech University in El Paso, Texas. Prior to joining Vancouver Clinic, he spent 10 years as an emergency room physician.

Away from medicine, Dr. Davidson enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. They love to bike around Portland, stopping at parks along the way. They also like to travel internationally.
