Robert Gonzales, MD
Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Robert Gonzales enjoys working collaboratively with patients to make a difference in their lives. He believes each person is unique and special and deserves care that promotes their individual wellbeing. He has a special interest in preventive care and delights in educating people on how to stay healthy through the years.
Dr. Gonzales earned a bachelor of arts in biology and chemistry from California State University at Stanislaus in Turlock, California. He earned a doctor of medicine from the University of California in San Francisco, California. He completed his residency in family practice at San Joaquin General Hospital in Stockton, California, serving as chief resident his final year.
He started his career in medicine working as a janitor at a county hospital while he put himself through college. Dr. Gonzales also holds an associate of science degree in radiology and worked as a radiologic technologist for several years.
Dr. Gonzales and his wife have seven children and two grandchildren. Away from medicine, he enjoys working outside on their property in Longview, helping his wife in the garden, and watching movies.
