Dr. Robert Fuino creates an environment where individuals feel heard and comfortable. This allows him to partner with patients to make well-informed decisions about their health care. His goal is for all of his patients to feel empowered and in control of their health. He strives to stay up-to-date on the latest research in neurology with the goal of being able to provide evidence-based therapeutic options.

Fellowship-trained in neuromuscular medicine, Dr. Fuino has expertise in neuropathy and muscle disorders. He has a particular interest in neurologic problems that arise from non-neurologic cancers and related treatments, neuroimmunology such as multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease.

Dr. Fuino earned a bachelor of arts in biology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He earned a doctor of medicine at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. From there, he completed his residency in neurology at the University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont. He then completed his fellowship in neuromuscular medicine at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon.

Away from medicine, Dr. Fuino spends time with his twin boys, wife, and two cats. He enjoys gardening, running, hiking, and bouldering. Despite living in the coffee-crazed Pacific Northwest, he has never had a single sip of coffee.
