Reid Fletcher, MD
Dr. Reid Fletcher considers clear and open communication to be the cornerstone of a strong patient-provider relationship. He works closely with patients to understand their problem or illness, suggest options, and come to a shared decision about what will be best for their health. He enjoys partnering with other providers to help ensure high-quality care.
Dr. Fletcher has a special interest in minimally invasive foregut surgeries, which include surgeries for reflux disease, hiatal hernias, and swallowing disorders.
Dr. Fletcher earned a bachelor of science in bioengineering at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed a master of public health and a doctor of medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. He then completed residency at the Rush University-Cook County Integrated General Surgery Residency program, also in Chicago. From there, Dr. Fletcher completed a fellowship in advanced gastroenterology surgery at The Oregon Clinic at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
Away from medicine, Dr. Fletcher enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. The family enjoys camping and hiking and is on a mission to visit all of the U.S. national parks.
