Patricia Choi, MD
Allergist / Immunologist
Dr. Patricia Choi empowers patients to be active participants in their health care. As an allergist and immunologist, she considers it an honor to help individuals learn about their diagnosis and improve their quality of life through treatment. Dr. Choi has firsthand experience with allergies and empathizes with the day-to-day challenges of living with an allergic condition. She enjoys using her deep understanding and medical training to help patients manage symptoms and feel better.
Dr. Choi has a special interest in atopic conditions, including atopic dermatitis, asthma, and food allergies. She is passionate about treating urticaria, hereditary angioedema, and immunodeficiency.
Dr. Choi earned a bachelor of science in human physiology at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. She earned a doctor of medicine at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. From there, she completed her residency in internal medicine at Spectrum Health, an affiliate of Michigan State University, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She then completed her fellowship in allergy and immunology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Away from medicine, Dr. Choi spends time with family and explores the Pacific Northwest. She enjoys hiking, visiting the coast, and trying new coffee shops and restaurants. Born in South Korea, she moved to Eugene, Oregon, as a teenager. She is fluent in Korean.
