Ololade (Lola) Longe, MD
Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Lola Longe supports patients as they work toward their best mental and physical health—and greatest quality of life. She values patients’ autonomy and ability to take an active role in their own care. She finds family medicine rewarding because it offers the opportunity to see patients over time and understand not only their unique health needs, but their stories and personal values.
Dr. Longe enjoys caring for patients of all ages and with all conditions, however she has a particular interest in diabetes and women’s health.
Dr. Longe earned a bachelor of science in human biology with a concentration in genetics and biotechnology from the University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas. She went on to earn a doctor of medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She completed a residency in family medicine at the East Carolina Brody School of Medicine Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina.
Away from medicine, Dr. Longe enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and basketball. She loves dogs—particularly her mini Australian Shepherd, Mikey.
