Noel S. Lee, MD
Cardiologist
Dr. Noel S. Lee believes teaching patients about their heart health is critical to thwarting disease progression. She fosters open communication with patients and encourages family participation, as support helps people be their healthiest selves.
In addition to focusing on prevention, Dr. Lee has a special interest in coronary artery disease and valvular heart disease. She is adept at treating patients who are suffering life-threatening emergencies, as well as those needing routine care.
Dr. Lee earned a bachelor of science in chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She pursued her medical training at the University of California, San Diego, where she received her doctor of medicine. There, she also completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases.
Dr. Lee is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular computed tomography, and echocardiography.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Lee is an avid reader who counts J.D. Salinger and John Steinbeck among her favorite authors. She is also a lifelong musician who plays the piano and viola. She performed with the Bakersfield Symphony while living in California. She currently plays with the Sunnyside Symphony Orchestra in Portland.
