Dr. Neha Patel believes that patients need and deserve to be heard fully, so that both their physical and emotional pain can be addressed. She focuses on giving people the time and opportunity to express themselves and share their beliefs. She loves building connections, helping patients address concerns, and inspiring them along the path to better health. Few things are more rewarding to Dr. Patel than seeing patients make positive changes in their lives.
Ongoing learning and education are important to Dr. Patel. She enjoys expanding her knowledge of the human body by keeping up on new medical literature and best practices. She particularly likes sharing her knowledge with patients.
Dr. Patel earned a bachelor of medicine and surgery degree from Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya in Jabalpur, India. She completed an internal medicine residency at North Shore Medical Center in Salem, Massachusetts. During that time, she also served as a clinical associate at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. Before joining the clinic, Dr. Patel worked as a hospitalist and internal medicine doctor at several hospitals in the Northeast. She is board certified in internal medicine.
Dr. Patel and her husband have a son and a set of boy-girl twins. They enjoy reading together and going on walks as a family. Dr. Patel is a committed bookworm whose favorite authors include Eckhart Tolle and Sadhguru. She also loves cooking authentic Indian cuisine. She enjoys picking up new skills, whether it’s learning to swim at age 34 or becoming a Christmas wreath making expert.
