Neha Didwaniya, MD
Dr. Neha Didwaniya focuses on making a plan to care for the person, not the disease. Her goal is to get to know patients as individuals and work with them as a team to achieve better health. She particularly enjoys helping patients manage chronic conditions through lifestyle changes. As a primary care provider, she believes an important part of her job is coordinating care for her patients and helping them navigate the health care system.
Dr. Didwaniya graduated from Government Medical College in Nagpur, India, with a bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She completed a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She is board certified in internal medicine and palliative care. Before joining Vancouver Clinic, Dr. Didwaniya was an associate chief hospitalist at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington.
An avid runner and outdoors woman, Dr. Didwaniya, her husband, their young child, and their beloved goldendoodle enjoy taking road trips, camping, and hiking. They also like cooking food at home while listening or dancing to jazz. Though Dr. Didwaniya is scared of heights, she faced her fears by skydiving above the Grand Canyon and hiking the famous Stairway to Heaven in Hawaii.
