Dr. Natalia Johnsen’s approach to patient care is best described by her favorite Maya Angelou quote: “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” She truly cares for her patients and enjoys forming genuine connections with them that extend beyond their medical needs. She takes a holistic approach to care and values any opportunity to advocate for individuals’ well-being.
Dr. Johnsen is board certified in internal medicine and lifestyle medicine. She is fascinated by the variety of ways that a healthy lifestyle can prevent, treat, and sometimes even reverse chronic diseases.
Dr. Johnsen completed her undergraduate education and earned a doctor of medicine at Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Santa Clara, California.
Away from medicine, Dr. Johnsen loves to travel with her family. She enjoys gardening, cooking with produce from her garden, swimming, going for walks, crafting, and reading. She was just 16 years old when she was accepted to medical school.
