Nashreen Anderson, DO
Dr. Nashreen Anderson enjoys building meaningful, long-term relationships with her patients and empowering them to take charge of their health. She focuses on getting to know people well so that she can offer comprehensive care that is tailored to their unique needs. She finds that taking the time to talk to patients about what is happening in their lives, in addition to addressing their medical questions and concerns, encourages people to share openly and allows her to provide nuanced care.
Dr. Anderson has a special interest in women’s preventive care and medical research and academics. She is passionate about mentoring the next generation of physicians.
Dr. Anderson earned a bachelor of science in biological sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She graduated with a master of biomedical sciences from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois. She earned a doctor of osteopathic medicine from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, also in Downers Grove. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York.
Away from medicine, Dr. Anderson enjoys exploring nature, cooking meals, and relaxing by a fire with her husband, daughter, and dog. She is an amateur photographer, bird watcher, and gardener. She loves plants so much that when she moved from New York City to the Pacific Northwest she insisted on driving her collection of greenery across the country.
