Melissa J. Freeman, MD

Dr. Freeman received her medical degree from University of South Florida College of Medicine in 2009. She continued on at South Florida for both her internship and residency in Neurology as well as her Fellowship in Vascular Neurology.

Dr. Freeman’s medical special interests are in stroke, stroke prevention, epilepsy, and general neurology. Her goal is to guide and educate patients so that they can take an active and engaged role in treating their neurologic conditions. She is a firm believer in good communication as a bridge to a trusting patient-doctor relationship.

Away from work, Dr. Freeman enjoys reading, writing, independent and foreign film, traveling, and exploring the great Pacific Northwest. Dr. Freeman is proud to be an ally of the GLBTQ community.
