Mary Patricia Junkin received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Oregon State University and her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Oregon Health & Science University. Her medical special interests are in preventative medicine and health literacy. She values good patient education and aims to improve patient functionality and quality of life in a team-oriented model of medicine.

Originally from Roseburg, OR, Mary enjoys competitive weight lifting, snowboarding, reading fantasy or sci-fi books, trying new foods and restaurants, volleyball, camping, and spending time with her niece and nephews. She also donates regularly to Girls Inc.
