Mark Schneider, MD

Dr. Mark Schneider is passionate about providing patients with the tools and resources they need to live their best lives. From helping individuals prevent and manage chronic illnesses to treating people when they are sick, he takes a team approach with his patients, enabling them to make the best decisions for their bodies.
He has a special interest in palliative care. He is honored to guide patients through major changes in their health while preserving their autonomy and dignity.
Dr. Schneider earned a bachelor of science in biochemistry and cellular and molecular biology at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee. He went on to earn a master of science in pharmacology and a doctor of medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed a preliminary surgical internship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
In his free time, Dr. Schneider enjoys sailing and hiking. He has an affinity for all things spicy and grows his own Carolina reaper, habanero, and cayenne peppers. He also makes his own fermented hot sauces and roasts coffee beans for his morning caffeine kick.
