M. Natalie Grunkemeier, MD
Dr. Natalie Grunkemeier knows that her patients’ health depends on her making the right diagnosis. As a pathologist, it’s her job to run tests and examine tissue and blood under the microscope. She provides the definitive answers that help doctors design the most effective treatment plan for each patient. Even while she’s tucked away in a laboratory, her mind is always on the people she’s serving. Her goal is to help patients get the results they need and return to doing the things they love.
Dr. Grunkemeier earned her medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center and Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. She went on to complete a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. She also completed a fellowship in surgical pathology at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.
Dr. Grunkemeier is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. She has a special interest in gastrointestinal and breast pathology.
