Louise Schultz, DO, MPH
Internist
Dr. Louise Schultz earned a doctor of osteopathic medicine and a master of public health from Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California. She went on to complete an internship and residency in internal medicine at Providence Portland Medical Center, where she served as chief resident her final year. She also holds a bachelor of science in natural science from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
Dr. Schultz approaches patients with a sense of curiosity. She strives to understand who is caring for her patients at home and her if patients are caring for children, grandchildren, or aging parents themselves. She also takes work, financial, and language limitations into account. Asking questions and learning as much as she can about people and their medical conditions allows her to offer tailored clinical recommendations that are easier to follow—and that can ultimately lead to better health.
As a provider, Dr. Schultz has a particular interest in chronic lung diseases, heart failure, infectious disease, and arrhythmia.
In her free time, Dr. Schultz and her husband enjoy hiking and have explored everywhere from Wahkeena Falls in the Columbia Gorge to the Swiss Alps. She also enjoys cross-country skiing, running, cooking, and eating out at great local restaurants.
