Loretta (Lori) Wood-Steenvoorden, NP
Nurse Practitioner
Taking care of people is Lori Wood-Steenvoorden’s passion. As an urgent care family nurse practitioner, she helps patients understand their illness and what to expect. She gives them the knowledge to determine when they need more time to get better, and when they need to seek additional care. She believes patients should leave their appointments feeling confident that they know how to heal safely.
Lori earned a master of science in nursing from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. She also holds a bachelor of science in nursing from Lewis-Clark State College in Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho. Lori has a passion for women’s health and served female patients at a primary care clinic for women in Spokane for many years.
When she’s not taking care of patients, Lori enjoys traveling to warm locations, spending time at the golf course, and relaxing at home with her dogs. Lori and her husband have two grown children.
