Lisa Vasanth, MD
Rheumatologist
Dr. Vasanth has a BA in History from Yale University. She received her medical degree in 2000 from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, NY. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital’s Columbia Campus.
She completed her Rheumatology fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. During fellowship, she also completed a Masters in Biostatistics, Clinical Research Methods from Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health. Prior to joining Vancouver Clinic, Dr. Vasanth was a member of the Rheumatology faculty at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
Dr. Vasanth aims to improve her patients’ quality of life and their ability to manage chronic illness using a team approach which focuses on communication, education, and evidence based medicine. She has a special interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound, inflammatory bowel disease related arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, and osteoarthritis.
In her time outside of work, Dr. Vasanth enjoys hiking, running, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family. She is excited to explore the Pacific Northwest.
