Kyle Lamb, MD

Hospitalist Dr. Kyle Lamb strives to help patients feel more comfortable and informed when dealing with medical situations. He enjoys working closely with people to educate them on their condition, offer treatment options that are specific to their needs, and come to a joint decision on the best way to move forward.
Dr. Lamb was drawn to hospital medicine because of the opportunity to constantly learn and gain new expertise and skills. He has a particular interest in the patient experience and health system quality improvement.
Dr. Lamb earned a doctor of medicine from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and is board certified in internal medicine. He also holds a bachelor of arts in economics and anthropology from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Before becoming a physician, Dr. Lamb worked in management consulting and in Kenya doing farm-based microfinance.
Dr. Lamb is originally from Eugene, Oregon. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, fishing, and running marathons. He and his wife, a nurse practitioner, have one son and one German Shorthaired Pointer.
