Kenneth Hermansen, RD
Registered Dietitian
Kenneth Hermansen’s love of helping others and excitement about the power of food inspired him to become a dietitian. He believes that eating well can be sustainable and delicious. He is motivated by the fast, positive results many of his patients experience when they make lifestyle changes.
Kenneth lost a family member to uncontrolled diabetes and watched another struggle with poorly controlled diabetes, so he is especially passionate about diabetes education.
Kenneth earned a bachelor of science in dietetics at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He completed his dietetic internship program at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is fluent in Spanish and worked as a bilingual registered dietitian.
Away from work, Kenneth loves spending time with his wife and young son. New to the Pacific Northwest, the family likes exploring the beautiful greenery found on local hikes. He enjoys cooking, especially sweet potato and black bean tacos and Pad Thai. Kenneth has been skydiving, but he is also content watching a good movie or TV show.
