Kelsey M. LaVaute, DPT
Physical Therapist
Kelsey LaVaute encourages physical therapy patients and helps them find ways to safely and comfortably do what they are passionate about. She loves working with patients one-on-one because it allows her to get to know people personally and fully understand their physical and mental needs.
Kelsey has a special interest in using physical therapy techniques to help athletes recover from concussions and return to the field. She is passionate about serving diverse groups and cultures, and understanding how unique experiences may shape an individual’s values and health.
Kelsey earned a bachelor of science in kinesiology from California State University, East Bay in Hayward, California. She went on to earn a doctor of physical therapy from Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Away from medicine, Kelsey enjoys biking, hiking, and tent camping. When she’s not exploring the outdoors, she’s often watching Jeopardy or Friends, trying new recipes, or traveling. Though softball is her sport of choice, she was delighted to be part of a school basketball team that won a Montana state championship.
