Kathy Stefan holds a B.S. and M.S. in Nursing from Washington State University. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked 17 years in emergency medicine, with 14 years in the Emergency Department of Southwest Washington Medical Center.
On a personal note…
Although she practices general cardiology, her focus is on lipid management and secondary prevention. She is also involved in heart failure management, heart rhythm management, and interrogation of pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators.
When not working, Kathy enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, kayaking, and cross-country skiing.
