Dr. Kalpana Katudeniya graduated with a bachelor of science from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. She earned her degree in osteopathic medicine from Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, Oregon. She completed her residency in family medicine at LewisGale Montgomery in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Dr. Katudeniya considers it a great privilege to protect another human being’s health and well-being. She approaches care using a team-based philosophy, building partnerships with her patients.

She is a strong believer in preventive care and helps patients to make changes that improve their overall wellness. She has a special interest in treating obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia, as well as depression and anxiety.

Outside of work, Dr. Katudeniya enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, and spending time outdoors bicycling and hiking. Once upon a time she was a varsity swimmer for Aloha High School in Beaverton, Oregon. Dr. Katudeniya is fluent in Sinhalese.
