Julia Hoelter, DPT
Physical Therapist
Julia Hoelter harnesses her optimistic and ambitious personality to motivate patients to overcome physical challenges. She enjoys building relationships with people and celebrating with them as they achieve important recovery milestones.
As a physical therapist, Julia listens closely to each patient’s story to uncover the root cause of their symptoms. She then looks at their body holistically, examining surrounding body regions for dysfunction and identifying lifestyle factors that may be contributing to pain. Her personalized treatment plans include education, targeted exercises, and hands-on manual therapy techniques.
Julia treats a variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions but has a special interest in complex pain syndromes, persistent pain, and pelvic floor health. She is ASTYM® certified.
Julia is an avid traveler and hiker. She and her husband have visited more than 40 countries, exploring most of them by foot. Among their many adventures, they have backpacked for 11 days in the Himalayas, explored the rugged mountains of Patagonia, and climbed a volcano in Guatemala to watch the sunrise.
