Dr. Rivera received his medical training from the Universidad Central Del Caribe in Cayey, Puerto Rico. He then completed his internship and residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA.
Dr. Rivera began his practice at Vancouver’s Child Care Clinic in 1993 after serving 13 years in the military. He and his colleagues then affiliated with The Vancouver Clinic in February of 1998.
Dr. Rivera states that “as a pediatrician, I support self-esteem, confidence, competence, and engage patients and families as partners.”
In addition to his work, Dr. Rivera enjoys fishing, martial arts, and gardening. He also instructs neonatal advanced life support at Southwest Washington Medical Center.
