John Thomas (Tom) Forsythe, MD
Internist
Dr. Tom Forsythe develops strong relationships with patients by building trust and talking openly about their health goals. He likes using humor to further connect with individuals. During visits, he focuses solely on his patients so he can be fully present and ensure all of their questions are answered.
As an internist, Dr. Forsythe provides primary care to adults of all ages. He is particularly interested in the early detection and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Forsythe earned a bachelor of arts in biology at Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio. He earned a doctor of medicine at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. From there, he completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
Outside of work, Dr. Forsythe enjoys spending time with his significant other, children, grandchildren, and 85-pound Labradoodle. He likes listening to live music, hiking, and taking photos. In the fall, he makes apple cider for himself, his family, and anyone who brings him apples and a container.
