Jody Allen, DPT
Jody Allen loves being a cheerleader for patients and watching them gain confidence in tasks that used to be difficult. She works closely with individuals to tap into the goals that best motivate them. She particularly enjoys collaborating with them to integrate physical therapy movements and exercises into their daily routines, an approach that helps patients stay committed to their treatments.
Jody has a special interest in treating male pelvic floor dysfunction and caring for individuals who have had gender-affirming surgeries. She is also interested in using screening tools to detect balance issues and asymmetrical joint strains, reducing the risk of injury.
Jody earned a bachelor of arts in linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas. She earned a doctor of physical therapy at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
In her free time, Jody enjoys listening to audio books while tinkering on her bike, cross-stitching sassy patterns, tending to her plants, or building a catio for her two cats. One of her all-time favorite authors is James Herriot. She and her husband like to watch movies, drink craft beer, and explore the beauty of the Pacific Northwest together.
