Jessica Lucier, MD
Endocrinologist
Dr. Jessica Lucier is passionate about helping people with diabetes and other endocrine disorders live long and healthy lives. She finds it rewarding to build long-term relationships with patients to help them manage their disease well.
Dr. Lucier was inspired to become a physician after her own type 1 diabetes diagnosis as a young teenager. She is open about sharing her own experiences to help others on their health journey. She particularly enjoys introducing patients to breakthroughs and therapies in diabetes care and witnessing the joy on their faces when changes make a positive impact.
Dr. Lucier earned a bachelor of science in biological sciences from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut. She earned a doctor of medicine at St. George’s University School of Medicine. She finished a residency in internal medicine at the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. From there, she completed an endocrinology fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. She is board certified in internal medicine and obesity medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Lucier enjoys traveling to unique locations and learning about other cultures. She and her husband spend their weekends taking their dog on long walks, eating delicious food, and attending indie music concerts.
