Dr. Jessi Khangura enjoys learning about every aspect of a patient’s health so that she can better guide them on their journey. She considers physical and mental wellness to be intertwined and works with individuals to promote a healthy mind, body, and soul. She believes that there are many ways to heal and uses Western medicine and other holistic approaches to tailor treatments to each person.
Dr. Khangura finds it particularly rewarding to watch patients improve their outlook on life. She loves seeing the spark return to a patient’s eyes or the pride someone shows after overcoming a health hurdle. Dr. Khangura sees adults of all ages. In addition to her passion for mental health, Dr. Khangura has a unique interest in cardiology and geriatrics.
Dr. Khangura earned bachelor of arts degrees in psychology and molecular cell biology at the University of California at Berkeley in Berkeley, California. She earned a doctor of medicine degree at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and a master of public health at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. She completed a residency in internal medicine and did additional training in cardiovascular medicine and preventive medicine at OHSU after her residency. Before joining Vancouver Clinic, Dr. Khangura was a primary care physician with Adventist Health.
In her free time, Dr. Khangura enjoys spending time with her two boys. She loves to get outdoors, especially to the ocean or the forest. Her hobbies include running, biking, hiking, doing yoga, cooking, and gardening.
