Physician Assistant
Ila Champine enjoys building relationships with patients and getting to know them as people. She appreciates family medicine because it offers opportunities to care for multiple generations and walk with families through the ups and downs of health. She has a special place in her heart for teenagers and delights in helping them see how their social lives and peers can impact their health.
Ila graduated from the MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program, part of the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington. Prior to joining Vancouver Clinic, Ila saw patients at an urgent care clinic and a primary care clinic in Battle Ground, Washington. Ila holds a bachelor of science in food science and human nutrition from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. She is a licensed dietitian and previously supported the nutritional needs of patients in Anchorage, Alaska. She is also trained in lactation education.
Outside of medicine, Ila enjoys spending time with her husband and three boys. She loves to travel and attend concerts. She counts U2 and Mumford and Sons among her favorite bands.
