Hannah Chin, CNM
Certified Nurse Midwife
Hannah Chin respects the capabilities and strength of all bodies. As a midwife, she educates patients so they can make informed choices and achieve their best health. She builds deep partnerships with individuals and supports them throughout life’s different stages. Her favorite part of being a provider is sharing in her patients’ most joyful and challenging moments.
Hannah is honored to support people through pregnancy and birth and has a particular passion for providing well-person care. She enjoys helping individuals make informed choices about contraception and long-term family planning.
Hannah was introduced to midwifery when she was living in Cameroon and working as a Peace Corps volunteer. She was inspired by the wonderful care and partnership local midwives offered families. Hannah earned a bachelor of science in developmental sociology and global health from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. She completed a bachelor of science in nursing and a master of nursing with an emphasis in nurse-midwifery from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon.
Away from medicine, Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. They love taking walks in the sunshine and celebrating her husband’s Cameroonian culture with good food and good friends. She spends her rare moments alone losing herself in a book.
