Guannan Ge, MD
Pain Medicine Physician
Dr. Guannan Ge provides compassionate care to patients during challenging times. As a pain management physician, she takes a comprehensive approach to helping patients improve function and reduce pain.
Dr. Ge has a special interest in treating neuropathic pain. She finds it rewarding to use spinal cord stimulation to help improve conditions such as diabetic peripheral neuropathy.
Dr. Ge earned a bachelor of arts in molecular biology and biochemistry at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. She earned a doctor of medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. From there, she completed a neurology residency at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed an interventional pain fellowship at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. She is board certified in neurology and pain medicine.
Dr. Ge volunteered as a translator and guide at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. She enjoys trying new restaurants and cuisines and then attempting to replicate the recipes at home. She is an avid downhill skier who, after spending many years on the east coast, is looking forward to the beautiful slopes the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
