Elizabeth Finken, DO
Family Medicine Physician
Dr. Elizabeth Finken focuses on seeing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.  She enjoys partnering with patients over time to help them make lifestyle changes that prevent disease and improve their well-being. She believes that listening to patients and communicating clearly are essential to providing excellent care.
An osteopathic physician, she has a special interest in using hands-on techniques called Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) to diagnose, treat, and prevent illness or injury. She is also interested in preventive medicine and women’s health. Dr. Finken sees entire families and patients of all ages, including children.
Dr. Finken was inspired to go into medicine by her mother, who is also a family physician. As a child, Dr. Finken witnessed the connections her mother made with patients and the good she was able to do. Dr. Finken earned a bachelor of arts in biology at Reed College in Portland, Oregon. She finished a doctor of osteopathic medicine at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia. She went on to complete a family medicine residency at Marian Regional Medical Center in Santa Maria, California.
Away from medicine, Dr. Finken loves spending time with her family. Her hobbies include hiking, running, exploring nature, and traveling to new places. She has visited 43 states and 33 countries on six continents.
