Elissa (Lissa) Pocze, PNP
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Elissa Pocze knows that bringing a new baby home changes the family dynamic forever. She enjoys guiding parents through this transition—from overseeing and managing their newborn’s health in the hospital to setting moms and dads up for success during those first days and weeks. She helps ensure parents understand what to expect and have the support they need as they begin a new chapter. As a provider, Elissa always remembers that she’s caring not just for a patient, but for their whole family.
Elissa earned a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She earned a master of science in nursing from the same school. Before joining the clinic, Elissa spent a decade working at Randall Children’s Hospital, where she provided expert medical care to children in the hematologic and oncology clinic. Elissa was honored with the March of Dimes Advanced Practice Nurse of the Year award in 2017 based on the nomination of one of the families she cared for.
Away from medicine, Elissa enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, cycling, reading, and taking their dog swimming in the Sandy River. She grew up in Boston and is a lifelong Red Sox fan. When Elissa was in college she helped start a record label—Ghostly International—that is still going strong today.
