Dipesh Pokharel, MD, FACC, CCDS
Dr. Pokharel graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2000 summa cum laude in Chemical Engineering. He earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine in 2004. He completed his Internal Medicine residency as well as Cardiology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City. He has additional training in implanting pacemakers and defibrillators.
Dr. Pokharel is ABIM Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He is also Board Certified in Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography and designated as Certified Cardiac Device Specialist by the Heart Rhythm Society.
Dr. Pokharel has special interests in preventive medicine, cardiac imaging, diagnosing coronary artery disease, and implantable cardiac devices. He is dedicated to helping patients understand and manage cardiovascular diseases while providing up-to-date, evidence-based medical care.
Dr. Pokharel is native of Kathmandu, Nepal. He enjoys traveling, hiking, photography and spending time outdoors with his wife and two children.
