Dennis Gavin, PT
Physical Therapist
Dennis Gavin enjoys helping physical therapy patients progress to a pain-free and functional place. His practice relies heavily on manual therapy. In his three decades of experience, he has found that using techniques that encourage tissue changes can help the body heal itself.
Dennis also incorporates at-home exercises to accentuate gains. He considers education to be a key part of care because it allows patients to understand their condition and prevent reinjury. He maintains a special interest in visceral and neural manipulation.
Dennis earned a bachelor of science in physical therapy at the University of Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland. He went on to earn an advanced master of physical therapy at the University of St. Augustine in St. Augustine, Florida.
Away from medicine, Dennis enjoys spending time with his wife, three adult children, and two amazing granddaughters. He loves hiking, gardening, and playing golf and pickleball. Growing up, he was the youngest of 13 kids, but only by a few minutes, as he is also a twin! He has traveled to Ecuador on five different medical missions, caring for people both in prisons and in the jungle.
