Daphne Morrison, MSW, LICSW
Care Manager
Daphne Morrison believes that the job of a care manager is to help patients resolve problems faster than they could alone, so that they can get more enjoyment out of life. She enjoys introducing patients to healthy solutions and supporting them as they gain new skills that allow them to feel and live better. She believes that checking in with people when they’ve received a new prescription or medical advice, and while they are working on changing a behavior, is critical to success.
Daphne earned a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Washington in Seattle and a master of social work from Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington. Before joining Vancouver Clinic she supervised and trained therapists providing in-home services that improve family functioning and promote child safety. Daphne has a special interest in helping patients replace the unhealthy coping skills that result from abuse, neglect, and intimate partner violence with healing options.
Daphne is married and has two children. She enjoys vacationing at the beach, boating on the Columbia River, reading, and watching her kids’ athletic events. Given enough space, she’s always game to do a cartwheel.
